William Douglas, Jr.

William (Bill) Douglas, 78 of Nordland, Washington, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2023.

Bill was born on July 22, 1944 in Seattle, Washington. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and served in the Vietnam War. After leaving the Navy, Bill worked as a welder, eventually moving to Marrowstone Island and working at the Indian Island Naval Magazine where he retired. Bill loved to travel, dance and enjoyed many outdoor activities including hiking and fishing.

Bill’s memory lives on through his family and his friends.

Memorial donations in Bill’s name may be made to a charity of choice.
