Virginia Pearl Fisher, lovingly known to her family and friends, passed away on October 22, 2026, at the remarkable age of 101.
Born on November 26, 1924, in Santa Monica, California, Virginia lived a long and beautiful life filled with love, laughter, faith, family, and countless memories.
Virginia was truly a social butterfly. She never missed an opportunity for a good conversation and loved connecting with the people around her. Whether she was sharing stories, making new friends, or simply enjoying the company of others, she had a way of making conversations feel special.
Her faith and love for church were an important part of her life. She also had a playful and endearing side, with a particular fondness for raccoons and an unforgettable love of stuffed animals. Virginia also had an incredible sweet tooth and a lifelong love of candy. No matter her age, she never lost her appreciation for life’s little treats and simple pleasures. In her younger years, she enjoyed ice skating and drawing, reflecting the creative and adventurous spirit that was part of who she was.
In 1949, Virginia married the love of her life, George Fisher. Together they shared nearly 58 years of marriage, building a lifetime of memories until George’s passing on November 22, 2007.
Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Fisher; her daughter, Carole; and her grandson, Quinton. Though they left this world before her, they remained an important part of her life’s story and the love she carried in her heart.
She leaves behind her loving children, Kim Fisher Briggs and her husband, Scott, and Kelly Fisher and his wife, Kati; her grandchildren, Chenise, Danielle, and Dominique; and her beloved great-grandsons.
Throughout her 101 years, Virginia witnessed a world of change, but the things that made her special remained timeless: her love of family, her faith, her gift for conversation, and the little joys that made her uniquely Virginia.
Although she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on through the generations of family she leaves behind, the stories they share, and the love that will always connect them.
101 years of life, a lifetime of memories, and a love that will never be forgotten.
