Steven J Silberman

February 6, 1950 — October 14, 2025

With full hearts, we remember and celebrate Steven (Steve) J. Silberman who passed peacefully in his sleep at the age of 75. Steve’s love lives on through his wife and best friend Tina, their children Tori (with Ryan) and Nick (with Noelle), his brother Bruce, and his cherished grandchildren Hannah & Hudson.

A third-generation Los Angeles native, Steve lived life full of generosity, adventure, and purpose. At every stage of his career, he found fresh ways to grow, always staying true to himself. Steve dedicated himself to both business and public service, guided by a passion and pride for the work he was a part of.

Steve held key leadership roles in both the private and public sectors — including Executive Vice President of Allied Parking and A.L.S. Industries; Partner of the Hollywood Palladium; and founder of S.J. Silberman Corporation, and Absolute Concrete Works.

He served on the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau Board and as Commissioner for the Los Angeles Fire and Police Commission, the Los Angeles Board of Recreation and Parks, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Commission, and the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Among the many organizations dear to his heart, the ERAS Center held a special place — where his work as Vice Chairman and board member left a lasting impact on his life and others.

He will be remembered for his big heart, quick humor, and unwavering devotion to family and friends. His kindness and generosity touched countless lives, and his spirit of service and laughter will continue to inspire all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an organization Steve deeply admired. Celebration of life will occur in Los Angeles in the new year.

All who knew Steve will remember his favorite sign-off: “GO LAKERS!”
