Richard Albrechtsen

Richard Arnold Albrechtsen passed away at age, 86 on September 29, 2025 at home in Chimacum, Washington. He was born August 15, 1939 in Greenville, Michigan. Parents Arnold Albrechtsen and Pauline Burgess Richard served our country for four years in the US Air Force. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Ferris State University and a master’s degree from the University of Michigan. He worked for three health care providers in the upper Peninsula and Northern Michigan in the senior management position. Richard retired in 1998 after thirty-plus years of an intense, but satisfying career. In his free time, he earned his pilot’s license and enjoyed motorcycling and RVing across the United States. Richard deceased his wife Shirley (Ladewig) Albrechtsen of 56 years of marriage.

Richard will be remembered for his professional dedication and caring nature.
