Neil Irvin Jewell

(Peter) Neil Irvin Jewell Was born in McMinnville, Oregon in 1944 to Thomas Edmond and Francis Marie Jewell. The youngest of five boys, he is survived by his brother Harrold, his son Jeremy and his grandson Zane. Peter was an Army veteran, a fisherman, a world traveler, and a kind and loving father. He made friends easily and often. His stories are the stuff of legend... and some of them are even true. He hung his hat in Port Townsend more than a dozen times since 1966, and though he traveled the world, he always returned here. Like a faithful sailor, at seasons end, to his home by the sea.

So, naturally, when the shadows grew long and his winter was nigh, when he could no longer stride the open, rolling deck, where else to come to rest, but the misty shores of home.
