Muggs was born in Port Townsend, WA on November 14, 1959. Went to school in Kelso, WA. After school he worked in Tillamook, Oregon in the logging industry. After which he moved to Anchorage, Alaska where he worked as a truck driver and later with Operating Engineers Local 302. He met Terrie and later married her. Muggs loved being in the outdoors camping, hunting, and fishing. His favorite being everything to do with fishing. He ran and owned a halibut charter for several years out of Deep Creek, Alaska. He loved fishing on the Kenai where he once caught a 78-pound King Salmon. Muggs returned to Washington State late in his life to finish his career with Local 302. Where he retired. He was a friend to all.
As his oldest brother I hope that Muggs is sitting somewhere with a fishing rod in his hand.
Celebration of life will be held at brother Bill’s field July 11th at 91 Stark Road Port Ludlow starting at 11 am potluck style as Muggs loved to do. Bring a dish and a chair to tell stories of Leo.
