Kenneth Joseph Przygocki, born on April 27, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on February 16, 2026, in Chimacum, Washington. Ken was a man of great character and integrity, whose legacy will endure through the many lives he touched.

Ken's professional journey included distinguished service as a trooper with the Washington State Patrol, following a commitment to public safety as a police officer with the Detroit Police Department. Beyond his law enforcement career, he dedicated his time to community service as a volunteer firefighter with Chimacum Fire Department and actively participated in local youth sports, serving as the President of East Jefferson Little League and officiating for little league, middle, and high school football. His unwavering dedication to public service was complemented by a Master's Degree, symbolizing his long-standing commitment to education and personal growth.

He was married to his beloved wife and best friend, Karen, for an incredible 45 years. Together, they shared a wealth of joyful memories, including being Seahawks season ticket holders for 33 years, witnessing their team triumphantly win the Super Bowl in 2026. Ken’s determination was evident in every facet of his life; whenever Karen would leave, there would invariably be new construction underway at their home, reflecting his industrious spirit and love for improvement.

Ken's family includes three devoted sons: Christopher, Nicholas, and Brandon, and six cherished grandchildren: Aiden, Lily, Carter, Paisley, Khloe, and Brinley. His legacy of love, kindness, and support will be carried forward by them. He is also survived by his siblings: Bob, Joe, Kathy, Karen, and Maryann, who will remember him for his kind, caring, and happy-go-lucky personality.

Ken was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis, who he will be missed alongside by family and friends alike. His determination to face life's challenges head-on and his role as a great life coach to those around him stands as a testament to his character.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on May 2, 2026, at the Elks Lodge in Port Townsend, Washington, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Ken Przygocki's memory will forever remain alive in the hearts of those who loved him and in the stories shared about a life well-lived.
