James "Jim" Alfred Kirkpatrick

December 8, 1964 – May 30, 2026

James "Jim" Alfred Kirkpatrick, 61, passed away peacefully at his home in Quilcene, Washington, on May 30, 2026. His passing leaves a deep and profound loss for the family and friends who were fortunate enough to share in his life and know his spirit.

Born on December 8, 1964, in Bremerton, Washington, Jim was the son of the late Floyd E. and Joyce A. (Tyler) Kirkpatrick. He grew up with a deep appreciation for the Pacific Northwest, eventually making his home in the quiet beauty of Quilcene.

Jim was a man of many talents and hobbies, most notably his gift for woodworking. He possessed a patient creativity, shaping raw wood into beautiful, lasting pieces with his hands. Whether working on a specific project or exploring his other varied interests, Jim approached life with a quiet dedication.

He is survived by his loving sister, Karen Brown, and her husband, Steve. Jim was a proud and cherished uncle to one niece and two nephews, and his legacy of kindness will live on through his many great-nieces and nephews, as well as his great-great-nieces.

Jim was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Floyd and Joyce Kirkpatrick, and his sister, Donita Walsh. They are now reunited.

James will be inurned at the Shady Urn Garden at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bremerton, Washington. Family and friends are invited to remember him in their own way and to honor his life through quiet reflection and remembrance.

"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear."

May he rest in peace. Family and friends may share memories James and sign the online guestbook.
