Stalwart, gentle, and straight forward are just a few words that would encompass the person that was Gary Lynn Van Trojen. His first sunrise was on 5/1/1941 in Stockton, California to parents Katherine Tyner and Robert Van Trojen.
He will be remembered by his loving wife of 68 years, Patricia Ann Van Trojen; his 3 children Jim, Kathy, and Rae Ann; his 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Gary was an industrious member of the community building roads, logging, and other construction. He was admirably referred to as "Chief" by his dedicated employees due to his Cherokee heritage and continuous strategic vision.
His final sunset was on 8/5/2026 at the age of 85. He will be loved, missed, and cherished by many.
