Our family is saddened by the passing of its patriarch, Dick Earl Wiltse Sr. on June 2nd,2026 at home in Port Angeles. He lived 93 years and left many, many memories that touched the lives of all he knew.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55+ years, Nancy Iris Neet Wiltse and his daughter Nancy Iris Wiltse.
He is survived by his wife, Caroline Wiltse Hacker and her family and he also leaves behind his Son Dick Earl Wiltse Jr (Jonette), his daughter April Starr Stone (Kenneth) and son Darwin Eugene Wiltse with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
During his lifetime he was a proud military man and is being honored by wearing his full-dress uniform with many of his awards, ribbons and pins. He will also have the color guard with its honors at graveside. Dick spent 6 years in the Army before discharging honorably and then joined the Navy to finish his career retiring as a Boatswains Mate Chief and the Coxswain of the Command Cutter known as the "Old Man IV" - Admirals Barge in 1981.
During his "off" hours he was a member of the BSA for 50 years, The VFW, The Evangelical Methodist Church and more recently the First Church of God in Port Angeles. He worked at Coast to Coast/ Henery Hardware in Port Townsend and many other jobs.
