David Moore

Our beloved David has been tragically taken from us at the young age of 38. Dave was born and raised in Reno, NV. His childhood was spent playing outside, climbing trees, biking, skateboarding, finding a love of soccer, and going on family adventures. He attended Reno schools and later moved to Jefferson County, WA where he worked for the Port Townsend Paper Mill and was a member of the Iron Workers Union. Dave loved the outdoors and shared that love with his 2 sweet boys Wyatt 9 and Levi 5. Hiking, camping, boating, and fishing were some of their favorite times together. Dave was an amazing dad full of fun and creative ideas for his boys like putting up a tent in the living room for sleepovers when it rained and making s'mores in the oven. Dave was a kind and compassionate man, always ready to help others. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Dave is survived by his parents Ted & Carol Moore, sisters Ashley, Maeghan, & Heather, brother Christopher (Cathy), Grandparents Carol Kenealy, Patrick “PK” Kenealy, and Flossie Holzman, sons Wyatt & Levi, spouse Emily, and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Karie Brown. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday September 10th 2:00-5:00 at the Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St. Port Townsend. Our love for Dave will be forever in our hearts.
