David Curtis Harrah jr

We are shocked and saddened by the passing of our brother, uncle, and friend, David Harrah on June 11, 2026.

David was born on September 20, 1946 in Seattle at Maynard hospital to David Curtis Harrah, Sr and Imogene Welch Harrah.

David attended Port Townsend schools until his junior year when he attended Roosevelt H. S. in Seattle. He attended the University of Washington where he earned a business degree. Meanwhile, he served in the Naval Reserve and retired after 20 years.

David spent most of his career in bond underwriting. After he retired, he moved back to Port Townsend where he was active in many service groups. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Port Hadlock.

David is survived by his sister Susan Harrah Hicks and niece Amy Hicks Roberts and nephew Clayton Harrah Hicks.
