It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Adam, a beloved son, brother, uncle and adventurer, who left us too soon at the age of 50.Born in Lakewood, Washington, Adam was raised in San Jose, California, where his lifelong passion for exploration first took root. From a young age, Adam possessed a restless curiosity and an undeniable call to the wild.Adam was truly at home in the great outdoors. He chased seasons and horizons with equal enthusiasm—whether he was hunting, fishing, camping under the stars, or bike riding through new terrain. He found joy in the quiet patience of skin diving and the rush of snowboarding and snowshoeing in the Cascade & Olympic Mountains. But Adam was more than just an outdoorsman; he was a deep thinker. He possessed a rare, introspective mind and a uniquely profound way of seeing the world around him.Adam was a decorated US Army veteran who deployed to Afghanistan as a Specialist with the elite 82nd Airborne Regiment. The sacrifices he made were met with quiet humility as he kept his experiences guarded when he returned home. He was always a protector...Adam’s memory will be carried on by his loving family: His father, Dan, and step-mother, Diane, of Spokane, Washington, and his younger brother, Jess, of Singapore. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice.Adam wished to have his remains cremated, and no formal service will be held.Ashes to ashes, you will never be forgotten, Adam.
