Penelope Grace Hoyt April 25, 1943 - June 3, 2020 Penelope Grace "Penny" Hoyt died peacefully at Portland Adventist Hospital June, 3, 2020. Penny was born in Marshfield, Ore., now Coos Bay, April 25, 1943 to the late Jerome Odell Hoyt and the late Grace Eldridge Hoyt. She was raised in Portland and attended Holy Child Academy and Madeleine Parish Elementary school. Penny graduated from Chimacum High School in Chimacum, Wash. Penny spent most of her adult life as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a private care giver. Her caring and ever positive disposition served her well as a professional care giver. Penny was a passionate fan of professional tennis and other sports. Penny is survived by her sister, Mary Hoyt Fowler, Daufuskie Island, S.C.; brother, Jerome Hoyt, La Pine, Oregon; son, Dell Endicott, Silverton, Oregon.; daughters, Monica Custer, Canby, Oregon.; Mary Kathryn Endicott, Portland, Oregon; and nine grandchildren. Because of the corona virus, there will be a private interment at the Greenwood Cemetery in Chimacum, Washington, at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2020. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Penny by performing an act of kindness in her name. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kosec Funeral Home in Port Townsend, Washington.
