Faye Audrey Perkins

Faye Audrey Perkins passed away on December 15, 2023, in Port Townsend, Washington, where she resided since 2009.

Born October 24, 1953 in Martinsville (Henry county) Virginia, the daughter of Willie R. Perkins and Delores D. (Hairston) Perkins, Faye would live the early years of her childhood primarily in the homes of her Grandparents; the home of Fount T. Perkins and Mary Alice (Penn) Perkins, and the home of Benjamin A. Hairston and Macenie "Mary" (Marshall) Hairston; both homes in Ridgeway, Virginia.

Faye often spoke lovingly of "Grandma Alice" and "Grandma Mary" and the influence they had upon her life.

A career Nurse, she worked for many years at Hospitals and health institutions in the San Francisco Bay area. A Vietnam-Era veteran (Navy Nurse), she

was a supporter of and advocate for all who served in the US Armed forces.

She enjoyed: music (played Clarinet and Tuna in high school) ....living near "the water"....lighthouses...genealogy...and her family...

She is preceded in death by both parents and grandparents, a beloved Niece, many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

She is survived in the immediate by two Sisters, two Brothers, three Nephews, one Niece, and one Grandniece
